Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ProfilePulse provides software that automates Google Business Profile posting, video publishing, review management, and review requests. This policy applies to our website and application at https://app.profilepulse.io/.

2. Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier.
• Google Business Profile data. With your authorization, we access your business locations, posts, media, reviews, and related profile information so we can display and manage them.
• Customer contact data. To send review requests, we process the customer details you provide or import (such as name, email address, and phone number).
• Content. Posts, captions, videos, replies, and other content you create or that we generate on your behalf.
• Payment information. Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (such as the card's last four digits and status); we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage and technical data. Log data, device and browser information, and basic analytics about how the Service is used.

3. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• To publish posts and videos, manage reviews, and send review requests on your behalf;
• To process payments and manage subscriptions;
• To generate AI-assisted content that you request;
• To provide support and communicate with you about the Service; and
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.

4. Google user data and Limited Use

ProfilePulse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access Google Business Profile data to provide and improve user-facing features of the Service, we do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising or transfer it to others except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service - for example, Google (publishing to your profile), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS delivery), our email delivery provider, AI content providers, Zapier (when you enable it), and our hosting and database providers;
• Your recipients - review requests are delivered to the customers you choose;
• Legal and safety - when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service; and
• Business transfers - in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. AI processing

To generate replies, captions, images, and videos, relevant content may be sent to third-party AI providers. We share only what is needed to produce the requested output.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA). To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@profilepulse.io. You can also disconnect Google access at any time from your Google account settings.

10. Customer contacts and mobile information

When you upload or import customer contact details for review requests, you act as the controller of that data and ProfilePulse processes it on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consent to contact those individuals. We process this data only to deliver the review requests you configure.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes, and we never sell this information. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the review-request text messages you configure, and are shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) as strictly necessary to send those messages on your behalf. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance.

11. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

13. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the Service works.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
